Mitchell W. Paquette is an Associate Attorney at Kirk, Huth, Lange & Badalamenti, PLC. He graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management and Minored in Business. He received his Juris Doctor from Michigan State University graduating Magna Cum Laude and in the top 17% of his class. While in law school, he was awarded Dean’s List Academic Honors in all three years and received the Jurisprudence Achievement Award for earning the highest grade point in his International Trade Regulation class. Additionally, he was the Vice President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society and a member of the Business and Securities Law Institute.
Mr. Paquette joined the firm as a law clerk in 2021 and was offered an associate attorney position upon passing the Michigan Bar Examination. His practice areas include all aspects of Business Law & Commercial Litigation, Labor and Employment Law, Probate and Estate Planning, Municipal Law & Litigation, Real Estate & Development, and Michigan Marijuana Law. This often includes representing clients with all transactional needs including drafting contracts and corporate documents, advising Businesses and Municipalities, and Michigan Marijuana compliance.
Mr. Paquette is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, and is currently a member of the Antitrust, Franchising & Trade Regulation, Arts, Communication, Entertainment & Sports, Business Law, Cannabis Law, Labor & Employment Law, Probate & Estate Planning, and Real Property Law Sections of the State Bar of Michigan. He has also been admitted to practice in the United States Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
Mr. Paquette is a former college hockey player and an avid sports fan. In his spare time, he enjoys working out and playing golf.
