Ryan M. Lanxton is an Associate Attorney at Kirk, Huth, Lange & Badalamenti, PLC. Mr. Lanxton graduated with Honors from the University of Michigan – Flint in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He obtained his Juris Doctor in 2024 from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, graduating cum laude. During his time at Detroit Mercy, Mr. Lanxton was named to the Dean’s List twice (Fall 2021 and Fall 2023) and received awards for the highest grade point average in Federal Pro Se Legal Assistance Clinic and Trial Practice. In 2022, Mr. Lanxton joined Kirk, Huth, Lange & Badalamenti, PLC as a law clerk, and accepted an associate attorney position with the firm upon passing the State of Michigan Bar Examination.
Mr. Lanxton specializes in a wide variety of litigation matters, including Business Law & Commercial Litigation, Municipal Law & Litigation, Michigan Marijuana Law, Labor and Employment Law & Litigation, and litigation appeals. Mr. Lanxton is involved at all stages of the litigation process, including factual investigations of the claims and defenses, the extensive drafting of pleadings and motion practice, handling complex discovery matters, and ultimately advising clients on how to achieve the best results possible for them.
Mr. Lanxton is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Macomb County Bar Association, and is admitted to practice in the federal United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
Mr. Lanxton’s hobbies include hunting, golfing, and cheering on the University of Michigan and Detroit professional sports teams.
